In this episode, Justin and Matt visited the newly renovated First Bank & Trust Arena to talk with South Dakota State’s Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations Jeff Holm and South Dakota State’s Associate Athletic Director of Operations Christi Williams. The conversation covers the three phases of the renovation, how they incorporated the classic look of the old arena into the new arena and, of course, the technology they use to bring it to life on game day.

Cameron Indoor Stadium, one of the nation’s best college basketball venues, just received a technology upgrade on campus at Duke University. When it comes to college football, Bowl Games are a BIG deal! This year, there’s a brand new 12-team playoff as well. With 43 total games taking place, many venues are using Daktronics products and services to support the action on the field. To hear how our team prepares and supports our customers during this time, Justin and Matt are joined by David Reynhout, Daktronics Customer Success Specialist. She shares her experiences from 10 years as an athletic director and as the president of the Arizona Community College Athletics Conference (ACCAC). In this episode, we sit down with Cody Smithies, a former student at Payette High School. Cody shares his incredible journey from starting Floww Photography in 7th grade to expanding it into Floww Media, an umbrella company covering sports production and media. He dives into his hands-on experience with graphic design and event production at Payette High School, where he was instrumental in creating game-day graphics and managing media for school sports events. Cody also offers valuable advice for students interested in media and event production.
