When it comes to college football, Bowl Games are a BIG deal! This year, there’s a brand new 12-team playoff as well. With 43 total games taking place, many venues are using Daktronics products and services to support the action on the field. To hear how our team prepares and supports our customers during this time, Justin and Matt are joined by David Reynhout, Daktronics Customer Success Specialist. He shares the total number of games and venues we’re preparing for this busy bowl season.

Not all live events have a full season of event production. To hear how our team handles week-long major events, Justin and Matt spoke with Brent Smith, Senior Art Director for Daktronics Creative Services. He shares his history of making digital content, how the Creative Services team works with these large events to create content on the fly and much more.

If you’re interested in video and technology in high school, the door is open with opportunities! To hear how one student turned his hobby into a part-time job that led to game-day production at the college level, Justin and Matt sat down with Brandon Shih, a Business Marketing Student and game-day operator at Mizzou.

As the college basketball world prepares for the madness of championship tournaments, Daktronics also prepares to support multiple games at facilities hosting the tournament. We recently implemented FrameWrx at Sioux Valley High School where its students are using this design platform to build their game-day experience and so much more. Justin and Matt visited with Tyler Bolstad, the school’s principal, to hear just how they are using this new offering and how it helps the students learn and grow with the technology at their fingertips.

The Norfolk Tides upgraded their LED display system in a big way with the second-largest video scoreboard in MiLB in 2022.
