In this episode, Justin and Matt visited the newly renovated First Bank & Trust Arena to talk with South Dakota State’s Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations Jeff Holm and South Dakota State’s Associate Athletic Director of Operations Christi Williams. The conversation covers the three phases of the renovation, how they incorporated the classic look of the old arena into the new arena and, of course, the technology they use to bring it to life on game day.

Everyone is used to seeing the social posts and content shown on the displays during a game, but there’s a lot of work behind the scenes to coordinate and create those digital messages. Justin and Matt sat down with David Bradley and Selena Castillo to hear all about the process and work going on behind the scenes at Duke University for men’s and women’s basketball.

Cameron Indoor Stadium, one of the nation’s best college basketball venues, just received a technology upgrade on campus at Duke University. To hear about the project and how it integrates into the overall game-day experience, Justin and Matt sat down with Bob Weiseman and Zac Powell. They share all the details and other interesting uses of the technology now that it’s in place.

When it comes to college football, Bowl Games are a BIG deal! This year, there’s a brand new 12-team playoff as well. With 43 total games taking place, many venues are using Daktronics products and services to support the action on the field. To hear how our team prepares and supports our customers during this time, Justin and Matt are joined by David Reynhout, Daktronics Customer Success Specialist. He shares the total number of games and venues we’re preparing for this busy bowl season.

If you’re interested in video and technology in high school, the door is open with opportunities! To hear how one student turned his hobby into a part-time job that led to game-day production at the college level, Justin and Matt sat down with Brandon Shih, a Business Marketing Student and game-day operator at Mizzou.
