The Daktronics Experience

We recently implemented FrameWrx at Sioux Valley High School where its students are using this design platform to build their game-day experience and so much more. Justin and Matt visited with Tyler Bolstad, the school’s principal, to hear just how they are using this new offering and how it helps the students learn and grow with the technology at their fingertips.

Building a connection with your audience might be as easy as collecting a database of existing and historical pictures and information. To hear how this database can be leveraged in different ways for schools, universities and even businesses, Justin and Matt visited with Roger Imhoff, national sales for TouchPros. He shares his path to working for TouchPros and how the product has delivered an interactive Hall of Fame as well as bringing it to light on Daktronics video displays.

In another installment of the High School Athletic Director mini-series, Justin and Matt spoke with Ken Green, Sales Territory Manager at Daktronics and former High School AD. Ken shared his experiences as a former coach turned AD, how to create a full audiovisual experience at high schools and additional benefits schools receive from having those systems installed.

Continuing the High School Athletic Director mini-series, Justin and Matt spoke with Bob Kernell, a new Daktronics sales representative in the high school market and former Athletic Director of Liberty High School in Missouri. Bob shares his experience of adding video displays to the venues in Missouri, how those displays provide an additional revenue stream and a few pointers for current ADs looking into these types of systems.

After recently attending the National Athletics Directors Conference, Bud Postma, High School Market Consultant for Daktronics, joins the podcast again to talk about his recent participation in the event. He also gives a summary of the conversations he had while he was there and leaves us with one piece of advice for every school in 2022.
