Leading up to one of the largest tradeshows of the year, Integrated Systems Europe, Justin and Matt sat down with Ben Aesoph, International Sales Manager for Daktronics, to talk about everything surrounding the show. Ahead of basketball tipping off in Sioux Falls, Justin and Jesa travel to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center to hear about the history of the Summit League Basketball Championships and what’s in store for this year as they celebrate their 40^th anniversary. Joining them are Bryan Miller, Assistant Commissioner for the Summit League, and Eric Ray, Daktronics Event Producer at South Dakota State University. They share their history with the tournament, how things have changed over the years and much more.

The experience surrounding sports is ever-expanding, most recently into casinos and venues with sportsbooks. To hear more about this and trends within these applications, Justin and Matt visit with Josh Francois, managing director, and James Roehrl, sales representative, both in the Spectaculars division at Daktronics. They discuss the massive LED walls that are being installed along with creative implementations of direct-view LED technology and much more.

Don and DJ Rockwell with St. Matthew United Methodist Church sit down and talk with Matt and Justin about how they use video for their services. They also cover the history of video at the church, the decision to make the jump from projection technology to LED and how it's been received by their members.

In another installment of the High School Athletic Director mini-series, Justin and Matt spoke with Ken Green, Sales Territory Manager at Daktronics and former High School AD. Ken shared his experiences as a former coach turned AD, how to create a full audiovisual experience at high schools and additional benefits schools receive from having those systems installed.

Continuing the High School Athletic Director mini-series, Justin and Matt spoke with Bob Kernell, a new Daktronics sales representative in the high school market and former Athletic Director of Liberty High School in Missouri. Bob shares his experience of adding video displays to the venues in Missouri, how those displays provide an additional revenue stream and a few pointers for current ADs looking into these types of systems.

After recently attending the National Athletics Directors Conference, Bud Postma, High School Market Consultant for Daktronics, joins the podcast again to talk about his recent participation in the event. He also gives a summary of the conversations he had while he was there and leaves us with one piece of advice for every school in 2022.
