In our final episode from the NACDA Series, we're sharing the first and last conversations we had at the show! Our last conversation was with Ira Akers, Co-Founder, and Christopher Saccoccia, Head of Global Events, both with CUE Audio, who share the company's history and how it enhances the live event experience. Also, our first conversation with Lacey Hall, an up-and-comer in the sports industry, joined by her mother, Jane Hall, as they talk about their experiences at the show and what they are looking forward to in the future.

The Detroit Tigers recently installed the second-largest display in professional baseball at Comerica Park. To hear how they leverage that display and the many others around the ballpark, Justin and Matt sat down with Stan Fracker, Operational Director of Broadcast and AV Systems, and Pete Soto, Vice President of Game Presentation, both with Illich Sports + Entertainment overseeing the Tigers game-day experience.

Our next NACDA Series episode features Justin and Matt talking with Richard Kilwein, Assistant AD of Marketing from UC San Diego, as well as Ciara Gresham and Terreon Randolph, both are Associate Directors of Fan Engagement at Baylor University. They share the important aspects of athletics that they are working in today as well as their experiences at the NACDA Convention. 

We recently hosted our High School Video Summit to expand and grow video system experiences. To hear what it’s like to attend the summit, Justin and Matt are joined by Willie Thomas, Director of Media Integration for Robinson ISD. He shares his experience as well as the great things he’s doing with his video display productions and AV Department in Waco, Texas.

In this next episode from our NACDA Series, Justin and Matt are joined by Makayla Nichols, Academic Advisor from James Madison University, and Nestor Osorio, Director of Athletics at Walla Walla University. They share their experiences in the collegiate space, their thoughts on the NACDA Convention and the importance of the mental aspect of athletics.

Applications Engineers at Daktronics really figure out how to take ideas and make them work using our video displays and technology. To hear all the behind-the-scenes information, Justin and Matt are joined by Michael Cruz, longtime Daktronics Applications Engineer. He shares his experiences and what it’s like to be putting video displays to work for our customers.

Next up from our NACDA series, Justin and Matt are joined by Lynn Nabi, Athletic Director at Dallas College, as well as Candynce Boney, Associate Director at Baylor University, and Alexis Barns, Learning Specialist at Baylor University. They dive into their history and how they emerged into the roles they have today with their respective institutions, and they explain their experiences with NACDA and why they are excited about the convention.

With new technology at their fingertips, Sporting Kansas City is putting on a great match-day experience at Children’s Mercy Park. To get a look behind the scenes, Justin and Matt sat down with Josh Blackford, Vice President of Operations and GM at Children’s Mercy Park, and Blake McFarland, Director of Match Experience for Sporting Kansas City. The conversation covers everything from the unique shape of their main display and how it matches their stadium to how they use multiple displays in coordination to engage their fans.
